The THIMBLE Inn is a picturesque, thatched Inn nestling by the River Piddle in the heart of the village of Piddlehinton.

The Inn is a Grade II listed building built around 300 years ago and features numerous ancient beams and other features including a Well and two large open log fireplaces.

The Inn is a Freehouse well run family business. The bar is well stocked with a selection of local real ales including Ringwood Best, Old Thumper, Palmers IPA and Copper and three lagers, Carlsberg Pilsner, Tuborg and Kronenbourg.

The Inn also boasts an extensive wine list co-ordinated by our local wine merchant and a selection of Malt Whiskies.

We offer a wide variety of homemade dishes and “Specials” which change regularly and include fresh fish, meat and vegetables all locally sourced.

We cater for groups and parties (with prior notice) and will cater for small wedding receptions.

We regularly cater for PROBUS, Age Concern, the Westfield Owners Club and one complete house from Milton Abbey School. Recently we have catered for Rolls Royce, Jaguar, MG and classic motorcycles.
